The manager of Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone, is undoubtedly the highest-paid coach in football; nevertheless, who are the other coaches who share the top spot on the moneybag list?
The French publication L’Equipe has published an article in which it reveals the monthly salary of the top football coaches in Europe. Despite this, Diego Simeone, manager of Atletico Madrid, continues to hold the title of highest-paid coach in the world, ahead of three coaches from the Premier League.
Over the course of the past decade, the salary of the position known as “technical director” have gained more public and commercial relevance due to the notoriety of individuals such as José Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.
